About Cinecon

The Cinecon Classic Film Festival is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to celebrating and preserving film heritage. Since 1964, Cinecon has brought together film enthusiasts, collectors, and industry professionals from across the country and around the world for a weekend devoted to the films that shaped Hollywood.

Held every year over Labor Day weekend, the festival focuses on the golden age of cinema — films from the 1910s through the 1950s, with occasional features from the 1960s. From silent classics to rare studio gems, Cinecon screens material you won't find on streaming, cable, or even physical media.

Now in its 62nd year, Cinecon continues to be a labor of love for the volunteers who keep it running — and for the fans who return year after year for timeless movie magic.

Why This Store Exists

The Cinecon Store was created to give festival fans a way to show their love of classic film year-round, while supporting the nonprofit's ongoing preservation and programming efforts. As a 501(c)(3) organization, Cinecon relies on donations, ticket sales, and merchandise like this to keep the festival alive for the next generation of film lovers.
